Study Interruption
If one of the following events take place which prohibits you from continuing your studies for the remaining part of a school semester for which you had already paid, AIG Assist will reimburse you the tuition fee which you had paid in advance:
- Accident or sickness leading to your hospitalization for more than a month.
- Your Terminal illness.
- Your medical Repatriation.
- Death of one of your immediate family members.
Compassionate Visit
If you are hospitalized for more than 5 consecutive days, and your medical condition does not allow your repatriation, and no other adult member of your immediate family is present, AIG Assist will provide a round trip economy class air ticket to allow one of your immediate family member to be with you.
Emergency Medical Evacuation & Repatriaton of Remains
In the event that you suffer from injury or illness which necessitates your emergency medical evacuation, AIG Assist will arrange for the evacuation and pay for the expenses incurred. In the unfortunate event of your death during your stay overseas, AIG Assist wll arrange and pay for all reasonable covered expenses incurred to return your remains to your home country.

Felonious Assault
You will be covered in the event that you suffer injury resulting in Permanent Total Disablement or Death as a result of events such as robbery, threat, felonious assault or any criminal act of violence directed at you. If the felonious assault results in your death or permanent disablement, this benefit will be payable in addition to the Personal Accident cover.
Personal Accident
We provide worldwide coverage against Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement whilst you are studying abroad, or on vacation anywhere in the world or even at home, as long as the policy is still in force.
Lost Luggage & Personal Effects

Important Notes
- Eligible persons - Any individual, between fifteen (15) and forty five (45) years of age, who is enrolled and attending a registered and accredited educational institution for higher learning, outside of his Home Country, and who has paid the appropriate premium for this insurance.
- No refund of premium will be allowed under any circumstances.
- The Insured Person can only be covered under one such policy for the same period.
