  • A Will is an effective way of declaring your personal liabilities or somebody else’s rights to your assets. This would ensure that your unrecorded liabilities would be duly settled and that properties, which you hold as trustee, will be managed for the benefit of the rightful beneficiaries.

  • A Will is a way to ensure speedy and efficient administration of your estate. You can avoid unnecessary formalities and the possibility of your assets being reduced in value due to the long wait before a Letter of Administration (L A) can be obtained.

  • Writing a Will is a way to avoid family disputes. Although intentions can be done orally but sometimes the distribution of estate could lead complications especially when the husband has more than one wife.

  • The Will should include the appointment of a guardian to your minor children or your loved ones who require special care, for example children below the age of 18 years old and able family member.
