Ordinary membership is open to public who are interested in protecting their self in the event of vehicle breakdown.
Types of Ordinary Member
- Principal Member
Entitles a member to all privileges under the Ordinary Membership scheme provided by the Association.
- Supplementary Cardholder
The Principal Member can nominate their spouse to be the supplementary cardholder.
- Children Supplementary Cardholder
The Principal Member can nominate their Children aged between 17 to 21 years old with valid driving licence to be the supplementary cardholder.
- Driver Supplementary Cardholder
The Principal Member can nominate their driver to be the supplementary cardholder.
- Life Membership
Open only to existing AAM Ordinary members who have been a member continuously for at least 5 years.
- Life Supplementary Cardholders
Open to the spouse of life members.
Notes:

Principal Member and nominated supplementary cardholder(s) share the same membership expiry date.

Life Member and Life Supplementary cardholders strictly enjoy the Ordinary member’s privileges only.

All supplementary cardholders of Ordinary and Life members do not have any voting rights.

Change of assigned cars or transfers of additional car to assigned car status will be charged at RM10.00 with 48 hours cooling off period.
