The conditions for applying competition licences -
- To be bound by the National Competition Rules of the AAM and the International Sporting Code of the F.I.A, F.I.M or the C.I.K-F.I.A (whichever is applicable) and any amendments, appendices or additional thereto.
- To pay as liquidated damages for any breach of the National Competition Rules of AAM any sum awarded against me within the maxima set out in the National Competition Rules and Appendices.
- To save harmless the Automobile Association of Malaysia, any AAM affiliated club organising an event, and their respective officials, servants, representative and agents from and against any actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury, loss of or damage to the persons or property of myself, my driver(s) or mechanic(s) as the case may be, arising out of or in connection with any entry or my taking part in any meeting and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies, their officials, servants, representatives or agents.
- To inform AAM at any time of the period of license, should I meet with an accident or any injury or any illness that requires hospitalisation. I also give full permission for my medical records to be revealed to AAM and their officers
- I agree to be tested for drugs and alcohol and to be bound by the results of the test done by any laboratory in Malaysia / and any method chosen by AAM / and accept any sanction imposed.
- License holders are not allowed to organise or participate in any event, which are not sanctioned by the AAM. License holders may only participate in events, which are sanctioned by the AAM or with prior permission for AAM.
The conditions for applying Entrant licences -
To be bound by the National Competition Rules of the AAM and the International Sporting Code of the FIA, FIM and CIK-FIA (whichever applicable) and any amendments, appendices or additional thereto.
To pay as liquidated damages for any breach of the National Competition Rules of AAM any sum awarded against me set out in the National Competition Rules and appendices.
To save harmless the Automobile Association of Malaysia, any AAM affiliated club organising an event, and their respective officials, servants, representatives and agents from and against any actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury, loss, of or damage to the persons or property of myself, my driver(s) or mechanic(s) as the case may be, arising out of or in connection with any entry or my taking part in any meeting not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the said bodies, their officials, servants, representatives or agents.
To inform the AAM at any time of period of license, should any of my driver(s) meet with an accident or any injury or any illness that requires hospitalisation.
To permit my team members to be tested for drugs or alcohol and agree to be bound by the results of the test done by any laboratory in Malaysia chosen by AAM.
To ensure that the AAM logo with the word “Sanctioned by?is displayed on all my advertising and shall NOT publish or cause to be published any false statements, results or any other material that may be detrimental to AAM or motorsports in general.
Entrant license holders are not allowed to participate in any events not sanctioned by the AAM. Entrant license holders may only participate in event which are sanctioned by the AAM.
The documents required for application of AAM Competition License
- Copies of Current RIMV Driving License and Renewal Driving License (if any).
- Copy of Identity Card / Passport.
- Copy of AAM Affiliated Club Membership or Official Receipt.
- Passport size Photographs ?3 copies (additional 2 copies each for extra categories).
- For applicants under 18 years of age, an AAM form “A?is required.
- Applicant renewing his/her AAM competition license will have to surrender his/her expired AAM competition license.
- Applicants who are applying for Competition license for the first time, it is compulsory for him/she to sit for a written examination of which questions pertain to motorsport.
