IN the event of a breakdown outside of the AAM Free Breakdown Zones, the member/cardholder must call the nearest AAM Office for assistance. Towing from outside the Free Breakdown Zones is not a free service. However, your interest as a member/cardholder is protected by the AAM Standard Towing Charges.

Members are required to pay in advance to the workshop and claim for reimbursement from AAM later. You are allowed to claim a maximum of RM60 per breakdown as reimbursement. This entitlement is only for AAM members and cardholders and the vehicle must be registered with AAM.

The receipt for any payment made must be submitted to AAM together with the completed claim form within three (3) months from the date of breakdown, after which the claim will not be entertained.
