ON June 14, 2006, Watta Battery conducted an in-depth training session for the technical staff of the Automobile Association of Malaysia. The first batch of the training was held at Syarikat Perniagaan Leko (Watta Battery's head office) in Kawasan Perusahaan Cheras Jaya, and was attended by 27 members of the AAM technical team.
The training agenda included the basics such as battery diagnostics and proper procedures for jump starts and installations. However, a large part of the time was spent briefing the AAM mechanics about the requirements for new vehicle models that may come with special electronic parts. This is part of the staff's on-going learning process about the new vehicles that are used on Malaysian roads and is part and parcel of AAM's commitment of quality service to its members.
Flat or dead batteries account for a big percentage of the number breakdown calls received by AAM each month. As such, your Association and its partner Watta Battery are providing their staff with more knowledge and hands-on experience on how to deal with this problem. The innovative AAM 24-hour Battery Delivery Service is one of the most called-upon service amongst AAM members.
