THE diligent staff of Automobile Association of Malaysia, those you see on the streets going about their daily duties rendering aid to our members and those behind the scenes, were treated to a night of fun and games during the AAM Annual Dinner 2006 which was held at the Hotel Crown Princess on May 27.
The night's entertainment opened with a performance from AAM staff Norhafiza who then handed the stage over to the main performer of the night, Yusoff Chong.
After a wonderful 30-minute show by Yusoff, the sportsmen and women of AAM had their moment in the spotlight as they stepped up on stage to receive their individual awards for sports events organized by the AAM Sports Club. A fun Best Dress Competition followed.
Then came the Award Presentation ceremony recognizing Best Battery Sales for Technical Department; Highest Breakdown Attended by Technical Department; Highest Towing Attended by Technical Department; Highest Towing and Breakdown Attended by Technical Department, Highest No. of Calls Attended by Call Centre, Best Call Distributor by Call Centre; Best Overall Insurance Sales; Best Overall Membership Recruitment.
The night's entertainment stepped up another notch with more artiste performances by Siti Sarah and Hattan. And no Annual Dinner would be complete without the most-anticipated event of the evening - the Lucky Draw!
Overall, it was another enjoyable evening for everyone. Speaking at the Annual Dinner, AAM's Chairman, YM Tunku Mudzaffar bin Tunku Mustapha took the opportunity to encourage everyone to continually strive for greater heights of achievements. He also said that he hoped staff functions such as the Annual Dinner would further strengthen the bond between colleagues that would lead to a greater spirit of team work and co-operation.
