The Automobile Association of Malaysia in
collaboration with AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad
(AEON Credit) on 1 February 2008 launched the
CRUIZE Visa Credit Card (CRUIZE), a product
designed to be the ultimate motoring companion.
The card, exclusively introduced for Malaysian
motorists, focuses on convenience and safety of those
who are on the road. The CRUIZE Visa card also comes
with exclusive benefits and privileges relevant to car
users as well as other lifestyle benefits and rewards.
“When both parties from AEON Credit Service (M)
Berhad and AAM first ventured into this project, we
were focused on designing the the CRUIZE Visa Card
to become the ultimate motoring companion,” said
AAM Chairman Tunku Mudzaffar Tunku Mustapha at
the launch held at the CineLeisure in Mutiara Damansara.
“Ultimate companion in the sense that it will give
cardholders the absolute peace of mind knowing that
assistance is all but a call away in the event of any
emergency or breakdown, or should they require any
type of road assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
365 days a year.
“What makes the CRUIZE Visa Card unique
is that it extends all the
benefits of
being an
AAM
member
and at the
same time,
enable
cardholders
to enjoy all
the benefits,
exclusive
discounts,
special
programs and
privileges
offered by
AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad.”
CRUIZE cardholders will not only enjoy
the benefits of being AAM Members but will
also enjoy AEON Credit benefits, privileges
and promotions organized. CRUIZE Visa cardholders
will be able to earn CRUIZE points for every Ringgit
charged at any Visa merchants worldwide. These
CRUIZE points can be redeemed for a wide variety of
rewards
CRUIZE cardholders will enjoy many other benefits
such as free towing, special accident care program,
exclusive discounts and privileges from motoring
skewed merchant brands such as, Brother’s Car
Accessories, Lim Tayar, Cars International, Mayflower
Car Rental, AUTOCAR and Motor Trader.
AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad (AEON Credit), a
subsidiary of AEON Credit Service Co. Ltd. Japan, was
incorporated on 6 December 1996. AEON Credit’s core
businesses are the issuance of credit cards, provision of general easy payment, personal financing and
motorcycle easy payment schemes.
Tunku Mudzaffar added that the launch of the
CRUIZE card further reinforces AAM’s aim at
becoming the most dynamic automobile association in
Malaysia.

The CRUIZE card will also contribute towards
helping AAM achieve its vision of having 1 million road
users as AAM Members. AAM and AEON Credit has
projected card take-up rate of 150,000 cardholders over
the next 3 years. This will be achieved via offering the
product to existing AAM members and through
recruitment of new members nationwide.

Applications for CRUIZE Visa Classic and CRUIZE
Visa Gold cards can now be made at all AEON Credit
and AAM branches nationwide as well as through
