Strategically located within the heart of the city, the Automobile Association of Malaysia’s (AAM) KL Main office is always a buzz with activities.

At the KL Main office, members and customers can conduct all forms of transactions that are offered by AAM, from renewal of vehicle road tax, motor vehicle insurance and driver’s licence, to the application for an international driver’s licence, the rental of baby basinets and child seats, transactions involving the Road Transport Department, traveling arrangements, etc.

KL Main however, is the only AAM branch nationwide that handles the application and processing for international car permits or (ICP).

“We always stress on providing good, friendly and courteous service,” said its Officer In-Charge Azrina Omar. Azrina “…And it’s great to see long time members returning. In fact, for some, having an AAM membership has become a family tradition because even their children and grandchildren are today AAM members.”

On average, KL Main receives about 1,000 walk in customers.

“It’s heartwarming at times to have members coming to us to renew their driver’s licence, especially when the post office is just nearby.”

Azrina also overlooks AAM’s branch office located on the second floor of Plaza BB in Bukit Bintang. The branch, manned by two counter personnel was opened in 2003.
